Meet Dr. Allie
Allie is originally from southern NJ and is a transplant to SLC, where she has lived for more than a decade. She discovered her love of trail and ultra running as she sought out an avenue to channel her energy and desire to be in the mountains.
When she isn’t in the mountains, Allie works as a counseling psychologist and earned her PhD in 2022 from the University of Utah.
Coaching Philosophy.
Allie’s coaching is based on the idea that every person has the capacity to be an ultrarunner.

Dr. Allie is a licensed psychologist in the state of UT. However, coaching is distinct from therapy. While coaches help their athletes with a variety of challenges related to sports psychology, coaching services are primarily focused on athletic development. Dr. Allie will draw on her expertise as a psychologist, but mental health challenges should be addressed outside of the coaching relationship. Where relevant, Dr. Allie can help connect her clients to community resources.
